Sourcing skilled support
It's good to have support! Right?
I think so, but I also believe that support should be skillful. So....what does that look like? What is skilled support? What does that look like in our health care providers, online, in our friends?
We are heavily impacted by the people and ideas that we surround ourselves with. As you accumulate a team of professionals, friends, and resources for information, be mindful of the sort of impact you are aiming to accumulate. The video will get deeper into these thoughts, but before you hit play, think about what you want to surround yourself with. Take a few notes. Do you want to be inspired? Encouraged? Informed through anecdotal evidence? Research backed information?
Your Assignment:
- Make a list of people or resources in your life who you view as sources of skilled support.
- bonus: If it is a person you can contact directly (including content creators) thank them! Send a text, an email, or have an in person conversation thanking someone for their gift.
- Comment bellow: Who and what has helped you in a skillful way? Pass on that gift of goodness to others here in our community by sharing some moments of skilled support or pieces of advice that you have gotten in your life.
